Originally from Canada, Hal has been riding and training Western horses for over 25 years. From 1993 to 2004 he made Southern California his base. Late in 2004 we moved to our new facility in Utah.
As as carded judge for PHBA, ABRA, IBHA and POA, Hal accepts judging jobs all over the US. Specializing in training, handling and exhibiting of AQHA horses in Halter and Western Performance (Reining, Trail, Western Riding and Speed events), he offers special programs to benefit the Amateur and Youth Owner/Exhibitor. Hal takes pride in having trained horses who have earned 2 PtHA World Championships, an AQHA Select Reserve World Champion, many AQHA World Championship top ten awards, a PHBA Reserve World Champion and each year has added numerous year end high-point earners.
Hal served as a board member for Valley Quarter Horse Association for 10 years, including President, he also served as the Vice President of the Golden State Palomino Association. He currently serves on the board of directors for Utah Quarter Horse Association and is the President of Best Of The West Futurity Program. Hal is a member of the AQHA Professional Horsemen's Association and in 2003 he served on the board of PCQHA. |
